I found the growth features enabled by default when doing the extension first install. Is it worth mentioning they are already enabled by default? I haven't found the source of truth for these. Maybe it would also be worth to mention or point to it?

I think we can just remove no-op lines from the code samples. They were probably added at a time when the extension defaults (usually available via the config field of extension.json) were different.
