Extension talk:DPL Calendar
Feedback
editsuggestion: add this to the Extension:Calendar page.
This looks like the calendar extension which comes closest to what we need: wiki syntax, automatic creation of the calendar, the addition of extra info (participants, location,...), easy to edit, without creating a bunch of extra categories.
The one thing that I miss is further support for recurring events. Your solution of using the YYYY or YYYY-MM syntax looks like a dead-end for that feature. Would something like a special Events page offer an alternative? (Similar to Extension:Calendar (Barrylb), but preferrably without creating an extra category for each date.) A few problems
editHi, I have two problems with DPL Calendar. The days are shifted by one with respect to the week days and the borders of the tables are missing. Any ideas? Otherwise it works great. Cheers, A. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.78.220.7 (talk • contribs) 07:40, 6 January 2008
This is a known problem. You must change a value in Template:CalendarSingle from 16 to 15 or vice versa. There is a comment at the resp. line in the code. 84.59.7.53 23:04, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
A good place for feedbacks
editIf anyone has problems, the best way to report them is leave a message in the page directly. The author of DPL Calendar would like to reply them.--Roc michael 08:48, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
How about CSS for all looks?
editHow about letting users define looks of calendar through CSS? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.100.132.138 (talk • contribs) 02:51, 9 January 2008
EventList to include all coming events
editHow about EventList parameter for "Calendar Month" included all coming events and not just this month? Not too hard to implement. I'll see it for myself if none else is interested.
ps. Someone with user at semeb.com could include this to issues... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.100.132.138 (talk • contribs) 03:22, 9 January 2008
Used Speedy deletion tag to attract attention to this document
editI was unsure which tag to use so I used speedy. I've tried the links on this extension page and it has set off trojan warnings with multiple Anti-Viruses most namely Nod32 and Avast — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.135.30.176 (talk • contribs) 20:31, 8 October 2011
Is this extension obsolete?
editAll links to examples, source etc. are broken, like http://semeb.com/dpldemo/index.php?title=Calendar giving "PHP version not supported"- error. No examples to be found.

- This is not an extension in a classical sense. However, if the source for the templates used is inaccessible it does no longer make sense to "advertise" this extension and thus create hopes that will not be met. Today e.g. Semantic MediaWiki offers various calender related options. Other options are noted here. I am going to archive this page now. Cheers --[[kgh]] (talk) 12:58, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
