geshi highlight and character escape

Hi, character escapes extension is not working for me on (http://www.wikijava.org/wiki/NumberSquare.java)

I write the \p escape character in a template call which uses syntax highlight geshi (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SyntaxHighlight_GeSHi)

Any idea on how to solve it?

This extension requires that another make use of it. To the best of my knowledge, Control Structure Functions is the only extension that uses it (and in fact, it was created specifically for that extension). —Sledged (talk) 16:28, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
