Issue with parameter that contains _

Hi!

When the parameter contains an underscore, like FOO_BAR, the value passed to the template is been "FOO BAR" (the '_' was replaced by a ' '). That's causing me some trouble, because I'm using that value as a SQL query parameter using Extension:External Data, as you can see in Extension_talk:External_Data#Issue_with_parameters_that_contain_.27_.27.

I know the '_' is converted to space in page titles, but I'd like to know if it's possible to override that in the extension, or if is there anything else I can do to fix this problem.

Hiding the Title

When I include

{{DISPLAYTITLE:<span style="display:none">{{FULLPAGENAME}}</span>}}

in the page I'm calling, the title still shows up, namely the name of the template I called. Is there some way to hide it? Thanks. --Skew 04:40, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
