The ReportIncident extension allows users to report incidents of harassment and abuse.
Installation edit
- Download and move the extracted
ReportIncident
folder to yourextensions/
directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/ReportIncident - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
wfLoadExtension( 'ReportIncident' );
- Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.

tl;dr: As a logged-in user, visit a user talk page. Then click "Report" in the tools menu, or in the DiscussionTools overflow menu, if DiscussionTools is enabled, and there are topics and comments present on the user talk page.
