The MagicNoCache extension creates a new magic word __NOCACHE__ and disables the cache for any page in which it finds it.
Thus it makes sure that specific pages never get cached as they get updated extremely frequently.
Installation edit
- Download and move the extracted
MagicNoCachefolder to yourextensions/directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/MagicNoCache - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
wfLoadExtension( 'MagicNoCache' );
Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
