tl;dr
- ↑ More responses – 171 responses! The most ever for the Developer Satisfaction Survey—up 33% from 2023.
- ↑ More volunteer-only – 96 volunteer-only responses—up 159% from 2023.
- ↓ Fewer staff-only – 41 staff-only responses—down 33% from 2023.
This report examines the responses of 171 Wikimedia developers who completed the survey:
- 68 Wikimedia Foundation and/or Affiliate staff
- 96 non-staff volunteer developers.
In this report, we have excluded survey responses from unsubmitted surveys (N=387) and from survey-takers where (N=41):
- The answers appeared to be non-good faith (e.g., open-text responses were keysmash: lasdjflkdsa)
- The respondent indicated that they are not a developer, or
- survey responses were incomplete.
