Content translation/Product Definition/Images

Images are well supported in Content translation. All images are presented in source article and can be copied to translation editor by just clicking. Image captions can be edited too.

Only images available at Commons are translatable this way. Images that are not in commons are not shown in the translation interface.

The File: namespace used for images will be automatically translated to the target wikis namespace for images. That means, if somebody is translating from Spanish to Catalan, the Archivo:Carcharodontosaurus_tooth.jpg in eswiki will be translated to Fitxer:Carcharodontosaurus_tooth.jpg automatically so that after publishing images appear without issues.
