- add TSG as internal tester

Agenda

edit

- Hiring update

  • good pool of applicants (from over 300), recruiting scheduling screens this week
  • process: screens, tech task, engineering interview, then Josh and Carolyn, then Adam
  • overall timeframe: probaby 6wks to 2 mos

- Progress dot

  • Monty: PR - badge flickers only when progress bar moving; much simplier to use, less confusing to user
  • Carolyn: may need a (2-5 sec) delay before badging

- Reading list data/Chelsy update (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T190748)

  • implement eventlogging using same schema as Android
  • app analytics: waiting on Marshall to spec out
  • app install id: waiting for engineers to have time for this
  • do we want to include client-side time stamp? hold off until next release/bug fix release

- User testing

  • we have access again, so whenever ready we can get started

- chore wheel access issues

  • permissions changed so everyone should have access, let Josh know if anyone doesn't

- Manatee board review

  • bookmarks is named properly now? Anthony says yes
  • more follow up in Engineers backlog grooming

- Beta by EOW?

  • Josh feels good about this, happy w/ what's in there now, just waiting for Anthony's tests
  • not shipping reading list danger zone
  • confirm which build on Thurs
