Thanks for starting this. It's going to be an effort to put it together properly, but such RfC can be helpful to ensure that development is driven by actual needs of the editors and developers community rather than by abstract theoretics which only slow down things. --Nemo 18:08, 14 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome! I added in what features I'd like to see in global notifications and what a few of the people I poked on IRC thought. It's far from complete so if you or anyone else has suggestions, please add them to the page. Legoktm (talk) 05:49, 16 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
I can't wait to this :) It will be very useful. Dominikmatus (talk) 21:48, 11 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hey Legoktm, is this still depending on the ULS status, or what do we need to move forward? Thank you! --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 16:33, 4 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
No, it doesn't depend on SUL finalization technically. It would be much easier if it did though. Mainly we just need developer time to start working on this. Right now Echo has quite a few bugs that are not-major at the local level, but will become major issues at the global level, which need to be fixed first. Legoktm (talk) 20:24, 4 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
